RFID transponder

Elect. test documentation and management system. The SpanSet premium heavy-duty round slings are fitted with an RFID transponder that is firmly integrated into the label, which – together with IDXpert – makes it easy for you to plan, carry out and document the regular inspections of work equipment.

Protective sleeve label

Optimally protected, reinforced with a lining. In addition to the tear-resistant design with a fabric lining, a robust plastic sleeve perfectly protects the writing from abrasion and dirt. In lifting gear fitted with an RFID transponder, the transponder is integrated into the protective sleeve and is tear-resistant.

Woven load capacity indicator

Easy to read even when dirty. Speed is often of the essence in everyday work. To make sure you always use the right round sling, the load capacity indicator is firmly woven into the sleeve and can be read even when the sling is very dirty.

X-tremely compact

The innovative structure with a high performance polyester fabric and a compact hose cover partially in the same material make the Magnum-X up to 50% slimmer than comparable round slings. At the same time, it demonstrates greater stiffness both along and across.

Customer benefit:

The round sling is not squashed even in smaller crane hooks and attachment points and it is easy to mount overhead.

X-tremely wear resistant

The hose cover is reinforced with an extremely abrasion and tear resistant high performance polyester. In addition, the special design reduces the formation of wrinkles at the turning point, which again significantly improves the wear behaviour.

X-tremely resilient

The new, high performance fibre has a significantly greater capacity.Consequently, less material is needed in the fabric, which makes the Magnum-X up to 50 % lighter than conventional round slings.

Customer benefit:

With the same load capacity, the Magnum-X can be laid against tighter edge radii than conventional PES slings. Work becomes more efficient, quicker and safer.

X-actly identifiable

The Magnum-X has an extra sleeve with a raised, woven-in load capacity specification – a safety feature that has proved to be a success.

Customer benefit:

The load capacity is clearly identifiable even from a distance and in the heaviest dirt. Mixing up the round slings is therefore effectively avoided, protecting people and material from accidents.

X-actly verifiable

The label, which is additionally protected by a film, is tear resistant and affixed on a sleeve, which is sewn firmly onto the hose. Integrated into this is a RFID transponder for storing the product data.

Even better protection for the Magnum-X is provided on sharp corners and edges by the newly designed secutex® clip protective tubing, which is sectionally reinforced with high performance polyester.
